ILLYRIA Solutions LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the PlanningInSync mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate and improve the App:

Account Information: Email address, display name, and authentication data provided during sign-up.
Event Data: Event details you create or participate in, including guest lists, tasks, food items, and RSVPs.
Usage Data: Basic analytics on app usage, device information, crash reporting, and diagnostic data to improve performance.
Communication Data: Email addresses for sharing events and sending notifications.
Device Identifiers & Diagnostics: Unique device push tokens for notifications, and diagnostic logs (if shared) to troubleshoot app issues.

How We Use Information

Information is used solely to:

Provide core app functionality (event management, RSVPs, notifications).
Improve app reliability and user experience.
Communicate service-related updates and reminders.
Ensure security and prevent abuse.
Enforce our Terms of Service and safety guidelines, which includes identifying and removing improper, sexual, or illegal content to maintain a secure environment for all users.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share user information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with:

Service Providers:
- Firebase (Google): For hosting, authentication, database services, app analytics (Google Analytics), and crash reporting (Crashlytics).
- RevenueCat: For managing subscriptions and processing in-app purchases.
- Backblaze B2: For secure storage of high-resolution media files.
- Zoho (ZeptoMail): For delivering transactional emails and notifications.
Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect rights and safety. We may share information with law enforcement or regulatory bodies if we identify content that involves illegal drugs, sexual exploitation, or other criminal activities, or if we are otherwise required to do so to protect the safety of our users or the public.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. This includes encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary:

Account data: Until account deletion.
Event data: As long as the event exists or per user request.
Media (Images/Videos): Shared event media is retained for 60 days after your event ends. Additionally, a global hard cap of 18 months from the date of upload applies to all media files, after which they are permanently deleted to ensure service sustainability.
Usage & Diagnostic logs: We maintain limited analytics for up to 90 days. Detailed diagnostic logs (Logging 2.0) are stored only on your device for 7 days. These logs are never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share them with us for support purposes. All shared logs are automatically redacted to remove PII (emails, tokens).

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

Access your data.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your data (via account deletion).
Export your data.
Opt-out of non-essential communications.

International Data Transfers

Data may be stored and processed in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Cookies and Tracking

The web version may use cookies for authentication and basic analytics. No third-party tracking is performed.

Children's Privacy

PlanningInSync is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware, we will delete such data promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
